About Yellow Fever

Yellow fever is an infection transmitted by the Aedes Aegypti mosquito, a species prevalent in Central and South America and Sub-Saharan Africa. Yellow fever can cause high temperatures, headaches, increased photosensitivity, and a loss of appetite. More severe cases of yellow fever may also result in bleeding from the eyes, mouth, nose, and ears, and eventual organ failure. There is a high likelihood of death from serious infection.
